Emma Frost is a mutant with telepathic abilities who can turn her skin into diamond, played by January Jones. She acts as Shaw’s second in command until the X-Men capture her in the Soviet Union, and Magneto later frees her and she joins his Brotherhood.
The diamond form is the interesting half. It makes her immune to telepathy, which in a film about two telepaths is a real tactical fact rather than a costume.

Frost was going to appear in The Last Stand, played by Sigourney Weaver, and did not after Bryan Singer left the project. A character based on her, named Emma Silverfox and played by Tahyna Tozzi, appears in X-Men Origins: Wolverine as Kayla Silverfox’s sister and a prisoner of Stryker. Wikipedia describes that one as based on Emma Frost rather than as her, so this catalogue does not count it among her appearances.
She is killed after the events of First Class by Trask’s experiments.
