Jacques Duquesne is a wealthy socialite and a highly skilled fencer. With his uncle Armand III he attends the black market auction of items stolen from the Avengers compound in 2024 and takes Ronin’s retractable sword. His fiancée Eleanor Bishop frames him for his uncle’s murder at Wilson Fisk’s request, and he later helps Kate Bishop against the Tracksuit Mafia.
Hawkeye spends five episodes inviting you to suspect him and then reveals that he is exactly what he looks like: a slightly ridiculous man who is very good with a sword and fond of his fiancée’s daughter.
