Electro is a character about being unseen. Max Dillon designed a system that his employer takes credit for, nobody remembers his birthday, and the one moment of recognition he gets is thirty seconds of kindness from a masked stranger. The film is far more interested in the accident than in that, which is its mistake.
No Way Home gives Jamie Foxx a rewrite and a much better film to be in, and the best line the character gets in either one is his reaction to seeing Peter Parker’s face.
