Yuriko Oyama has extendable adamantium claws and accelerated healing, and in X2 she is under William Stryker’s control the entire time. She takes Xavier and Cyclops to Alkali Lake, and the fight she has with Logan at the end is built on a simple, cruel idea: he cannot out-heal her, he cannot out-cut her, and the only thing he has that she does not is a choice.
Kelly Hu says almost nothing in the part. It works because of that.
