An ex-Marine nearly killed in an attempt on his life is saved by a serum his father developed, and takes up his father's wartime nickname.
A television film in which Steve Rogers is a contemporary man, the serum is called FLAG, the shield doubles as a windscreen on a motorcycle, and the plot concerns a neutron bomb. The wartime Captain America is his father.
