A demon gives Morgan le Fay three days to destroy the ageing Sorcerer Supreme and turn the man chosen to succeed him, a hospital psychiatrist.
A television film that gets the shape of the character right decades before anyone spent money on him. Stephen Strange is a psychiatrist rather than a surgeon, the mysticism is played as real, and the antagonist is Morgan le Fay working to a deadline set by something worse.
It was intended as a pilot. It did not become a series, and the character waited thirty-eight years for a film.
