David comes back after a year inside an orb to find his allies working with the agency that hunted him, against the parasite that used to live in his head.

Eleven episodes about a chase for a body. Amahl Farouk, the Shadow King, is loose without a host and racing to recover his original one, and the people who rescued David in the first season are now in an alliance with Division 3, which had been trying to kill him.

The season is where the series stops being about whether David is ill and starts being about whether he is dangerous, which is a much less comfortable question and one it answers.
