Blackagar Boltagon, called Black Bolt, is the head of the Inhuman Royal Family and the king of Attilan, and his voice can cause destruction with the slightest whisper. Anson Mount plays him.
The premise is a genuinely good one for television and the series does almost nothing with it. A king who cannot speak has to be played entirely in the face and the hands, and Inhumans strands him for most of its eight episodes in a place where nobody knows who he is.

A variant of Black Bolt, also played by Mount, appears in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as a member of the Illuminati. That is a different man in a different universe, and it is the only time these films have acknowledged the series at all.
