Dr. Cecilia Reyes is the sole medical professional at Milbury Hospital in The New Mutants, and a mutant herself, with the ability to generate force fields. Alice Braga plays her. Wikipedia’s list says she operates under the Essex Corporation to train young mutants as personal killers: she recruits five of them to the hospital and traps them there using her powers, to observe them. The reader who sent this list called her the head scientist who will not let any of the New Mutants leave, which is the experience of watching the film.

She is instructed to kill Dani by the Essex Corporation, is wounded by Rahne, confronts the young mutants, and is killed by the demon bear.
