The younger brother who cannot hunt, does voices instead, and ends up with the empire and a face that changes.
Dmitri Kravinoff is Kraven’s estranged half-brother and a master of disguise, capable of mimicking other people’s voices. Fred Hechinger plays him in Kraven the Hunter, with Billy Barratt as the boy their father Nikolai drags into the wild with Sergei after their mother’s death. The reader who sent this list said he is so good at impressions he is practically a Chameleon, which is the joke the film is building to.
Sixteen years later Kraven comes to London for Dmitri’s birthday, and mercenaries take Dmitri during the reunion. Nikolai refuses to pay the ransom. The man behind the kidnapping is Aleksei Sytsevich, the Rhino, who proposes an alliance to overthrow Nikolai, and Dmitri is the bait in the war that follows.
Minor spoiler
Kraven visits Dmitri and finds that he has willingly inherited their father’s criminal empire, and that Miles Warren has given him the ability to change his shape. Dmitri tells him that for all his claims of being the moral one, he and Nikolai were the same: hunters looking for the next trophy.
