Hobie Brown is a punk rock version of Spider-Man from Earth-138 who uses his guitar as his main weapon. Daniel Kaluuya voices him.
He is animated differently from everybody else on screen, on a lower frame rate, in torn paper and screenprint, and the film uses that as characterisation rather than decoration: he does not move at the same speed as the institution he is standing inside.
