A sorceress out of legend, trapped in a dark place, who needed a teenage witch to let her out.
Morgan le Fay is the villain of the third and last season of Runaways, played by Elizabeth Hurley. She is the enchantress of Arthurian legend as the comics reimagined her: a powerful sorceress and the leader of a coven of witches, trapped in the Dark Dimension, the place the films first showed in Doctor Strange.
She gets out through Nico Minoru. She manipulates Nico into accepting her abilities as a witch and joining the coven, and once free she takes the Darkhold, enthralls Nico’s father Robert, and takes over his company WIZARD, whose Corvus WizPhones become the means of building an army of slaves. All the while she keeps trying to take the Staff of One from Nico.

The Runaways and the Pride, the children and their parents together for once, foil the plan, and Nico’s mother Tina banishes her back to the Dark Dimension.

Scarlett Byrne plays Bronwyn, a member of her coven. The Dark Dimension and the Darkhold both come from the films and series around this one, which makes her season one of the points where a Marvel Television show borrowed most directly from the shared story.
