Peter Porker is a talking animal Spider-Man from a cartoon-based anthropomorphic universe, who was once a spider that bit a pig. John Mulaney voices him.
The reason he works is that the film lets his rules come with him. He pulls a mallet out of the air in a world where that should not be possible, and the film does not explain it, because explaining it would be admitting the other Spider-People are the real ones.
