A student who built a working suit of armour in a dorm room cannot afford to finish it, and takes money from the wrong person.

Riri Williams is the most talented engineer in the catalogue after Shuri and Tony Stark, and the series is built on the fact that neither of them had to worry about money. She is expelled, she is broke, and the suit is real and unfinished, so she goes to work for somebody who will pay for the parts.

The series begins after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and is the last entry of Phase Five.
