Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

A girl who can punch holes between universes is being hunted, and the person hunting her is somebody he trusts.

The director’s fingerprints are all over it: the camera moves like a horror film, the violence is sharper than usual, and the sequence in a mirrored dimension is the strangest thing this run has put on screen.

It also demands more homework than almost anything else here. Two series and a Spider-Man film feed directly into its first ten minutes, and it does not stop to catch you up.
