Captain America: Civil War

After too many cities are damaged, governments demand oversight of the Avengers, and the team splits over whether to accept it.

The disagreement is real and the film refuses to resolve it. Both positions are argued honestly, and the fight that ends it is driven by grief rather than by principle.

It is an Avengers film in everything but name, and it leaves the team dismantled going into the two films that need them most.
