With Kilgrave gone, the investigator finally looks into where her own abilities came from, and finds people she would rather not have found.

The second season turns inward. The case is her own accident, the experiments that followed, and the family she assumed was dead. It is slower than the first and much less frightening, and it is largely about how badly a person can want an answer that will not help them.

It is also the season where Trish Walker stops being the supportive friend, on purpose, and the show begins the argument that will end it.
