A man who has spent ten years parking cars in San Francisco is found by the father he ran away from.
The action is choreographed rather than assembled, staged in long takes on a bus and a scaffold, and it is the clearest the fighting has ever been in one of these films.
Underneath it is a story about a father who cannot accept a death and two children who were raised differently by the same grief. The antagonist wants his wife back, which is a motive the film treats as sad rather than stupid.
